Empowering Students to Create Meaningful Change!

Bloomingdale International School successfully conducted the MYP Community Project Orientation for MYP 3 and MYP 4 students and their parents as part of the 2026–27 academic year.

The session introduced families to the purpose and expectations of the Community Project, highlighting how students will engage in meaningful service by connecting their initiatives to the six IB Global Contexts. Parents and students gained a clear understanding of the project journey, including its timeline, workflow, and the exciting community initiatives planned throughout the year.

A key focus of the orientation was the shared responsibility of all stakeholders. The roles of students, parents, teachers, and the school were discussed in detail, emphasising the importance of collaboration in supporting every learner's success. The session also established the Essential Agreements that will guide the project, with parents affirming their commitment by signing the agreement to support their child's learning journey.

Together, we are nurturing compassionate, responsible, and action-oriented learners who are inspired to make a positive impact in their communities.
