Middle Years Programme (MYP*)

The Middle School Program extends the study across a broad range of subjects manifesting all domains of knowledge. Students of all interests and academic abilities can benefit from this programme.

A Flexible and Modern Approach

The MYP* is going to be a transition from a transdisciplinary setting to an Interdisciplinary setting. Our young learners enhance their sense of curiosity with core subjects. It empowers students to look at local and global issues and inquire about possible solutions. The process enhances our learner's Critical thinking, creativity, and reflection skills.

MYP* Framework

The MYP* organizes teaching and learning through eight subject groups:

The MYP* program encourages students to make practical connections with the real world. It encourages our learners to understand the need to learn and learn because they want to not because they have to. This process develops active learner that pursue lives of purpose and meaning.
MYP* students develop both subject-specific and interdisciplinary understanding. The MYP* Curriculum framework includes:
  • Approaches to learning (ATL)
    Where students learn how to develop skills for research, critical and creative thinking, communication, collaboration and self-management
  • Key and related concepts
    To enable students to explore big ideas that matter
  • Global contexts,
    To help them understand the relevance and importance of their education towards humanity and their shared guardianship of the planet

Assessments in MYP*

For a learner to acquire a certificate in MYP* they are required to complete eight eAssesments:

Online examination:

  • Language acquisition

ePortfolios :

  • Physical and health education, arts, or design

MYP* Personal project

  • MYP* projects involve students in a wide range of activities to extend their knowledge and understanding and to develop their skills and attitudes
